Changes are applied to all historical data immediately after saving.

Estimated days between order placement and delivery. The 30-day and 100-day return trials start from when the customer receives the order, not the order date. This buffer is added to the order date to approximate the delivery date. Effective cutoff from order date: d (30-day trial) and d (100-day trial).
Used only when a SKU has no closed return-window history yet and no SKU-specific override.
Active SKUs are included in sync, reporting, product filters, and threshold calculations. New SKUs need a full resync before old Shopify orders can appear.
How to add, change, deactivate, and resync SKUs
Before you start
  • SKU means the exact Shopify variant SKU. Copy it exactly, including dots, dashes, capital letters, and size text.
  • Product is the product family name shown in the dashboard, filters, charts, and exports.
  • Trial is the return window for that SKU: choose 30d or 100d.
  • Active means the portal tracks and shows the SKU. Inactive SKUs are hidden from normal reports.
Add a new SKU
  1. Click + Add SKU.
  2. Type or paste the exact SKU into the new blank SKU field.
  3. Type the product family name into Product.
  4. Choose the correct Trial: usually 30d, or 100d for SKUs that have a 100-day return window.
  5. Leave Active checked.
  6. Click Save catalog if you only need the SKU tracked from now on.
  7. Click Save + full resync if you need old Shopify orders for this new SKU to appear in the dashboard.
Change an existing SKU
  1. Find the SKU row in the catalog table.
  2. Edit the Product name if the dashboard grouping should change.
  3. Change the Trial if the SKU belongs to the other return window.
  4. Click Save catalog.
  5. If you need to change the SKU code itself, deactivate the old row and add a new row with the corrected SKU.
Deactivate or reactivate a SKU
  1. Click Deactivate on a SKU you no longer want to track.
  2. Click Save catalog. The SKU is hidden from normal reports, but its old stored data is not erased.
  3. To bring it back later, click Reactivate and then Save catalog.
  4. If the reactivated SKU is missing historical orders, use Save + full resync.
When to full resync
  • Use Save + full resync after adding a brand-new SKU that already has historical Shopify orders.
  • A full resync can take several minutes. The sync badge at the top of the page will show progress.
  • Use ordinary Save catalog for simple product-name changes, trial changes, deactivations, and reactivations when old order backfill is not needed.
SKU PRODUCT TRIAL ACTIVE
Auto is each SKU's average return rate across its latest 12 closed order months: 30-day SKUs use the 30D return rate, and 100-day SKUs use the 100D return rate. Override is optional; enter a percentage to replace the auto value for that SKU. Leave it blank to use Auto. Effective is the value used to highlight table cells, and Source shows whether that value came from Auto, Override, or the fallback above.
SKU AUTO OVERRIDE EFFECTIVE SOURCE

Forces a full re-pull of all orders from Shopify from the beginning. Required after code updates that added new fields (return dates, prices, refund amounts). This may take several minutes.

Column Reference

Row dimensions
SKUShopify variant SKU code.
ProductProduct family grouping. Used to roll up SKU-level data in the By Product view.
MonthCalendar month the order was placed (YYYY-MM). Filters and comparisons are always based on order month, not refund month.
TrialContractual return window: 30 days (standard) or 100 days (Home Pillow line). The clock starts from when the customer receives the order, not the order date. Since we only know the order date in Shopify, buffer days are added to approximate the delivery date.
Order volume
Ordered QtyTotal units fulfilled for this SKU in this order month. Only fulfilled line items are counted — cancelled or pending items are excluded.
30D Window & 100D Window
Returned QtyUnits where a formal return was registered by the customer within the window. Only physical returns (DHL label issued via Shopify) are counted — goodwill refunds where the customer keeps the item are excluded. Timing is measured from order date + buffer days (estimated delivery date).
Return RateReturned Qty ÷ Ordered Qty for this window, grouped by month of order (not month of return). This means an October refund for a February order is counted against February's rate. Red highlight when it exceeds the per-product threshold set in Settings.
Window Closed✓ when every order in this month has passed the return deadline (order date + buffer days for shipping + return window days) — the rate is final and no new returns can qualify. ✗ means some orders are still within their return window and the rate may still rise.
All Refunds (monetary)
Revenue €Total tax-inclusive revenue for this SKU × month after applied discounts. Used as the denominator for Refund Rate. Shipping fees are excluded.
Refunded €Total amount refunded to customers to date, tax-inclusive, regardless of when the refund was issued. Covers both physical returns and goodwill refunds. Shipping refunds are excluded.
Refund RateRefunded € ÷ Revenue €. Monetary return rate — comparable across SKUs at different price points and across months with different volumes.
Return Buffer (Settings)
Buffer daysApproximates the gap between order date and delivery date. Because return windows start from receipt (not order date), buffer days are added to the order date to estimate when the customer received the item. The effective return deadline is: order date + buffer days for shipping + return window days. Default: 10 days (estimated shipping time). Affects Returned Qty, Return Rate, and Window Closed for both windows.
